The domain for this site expires in less than a month & I can't get in touch with the owner. It was on a 10-year contract so it's possible he's lost interest / forgotten about it in that time.
Since we've already got the tourney coming up I'm looking at setting up another site just in case so we don't let people down by disappearing part way through.
Been thinkin for a while about having a battle site for multiple things, rap, music, art, loudest queefs (approved db meter required), whatever the fuck people want to test themselves with, but I'll keep you updated.

I'm happy to call the final a draw & pay both, I can't call it which is why I'm waiting on first to 4 votes. Be good if we could get votes from @AllSeeingEye & @RICAN Theoryz aka @KnoXville. , I'll hit up MV too

Damn, this is sad news.. I tried checking letsbeef out, but it looks horrible. Don't know how easy it is to set up a new site like that. Can you just use a forum templete and basically "copy" this site, or do you have to do everything from scratch?

But yeah, as Slayerr said, if it runs out in a month, then time is of the essence.. I guess you have the contacts for ppl who won money on here, but if the site suddenly just crashes for good without ppl knowing about it, then it'll probably be hard to generate traffic on the new site..

Anyway, I had fun dipping my toes here either way. It's crazy how active it seemed just last year compared to now, but I guess it was just a few cats holding it down in the cyphers all along. Guess text battling is a dying art these days. (Probably along with real battling, if we're honest about it. Grind Time was created in 2008... I guess that new guy Real Sikh had some actual bars, but maybe there's also a finite amount of wordplays for gun violence threats that exist. And actually - qua all this Jack Hallows business, lol - maybe things are getting a little too crazy in the world atm for ppl to yell imaginate threats at each other. But maybe not, who knows..).

@TheShaman lol yeah lets beef is pretty dead as well. Was only a matter of time before the members realised $6 a month to play dress up games is a bit gay.
Ion Metatron is out putting up flyers in NYC this week for the audio tourney & we're gonna be carrying on as if the site will auto-renew. Battle rap is deffo in a slump but it'll make a come back a bit like skating in the 00s.
