Mastering is preparing the master tracks for different media such as CD, vinyl, radio, etc. No one can actually master other than a mastering engineer in a mastering house. Mastering is just about the most incorrectly used term in production.

They also have Cubase Studio for $200 and Cubase Essential for $75. I don't know the exact differences off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure the Essential version would be more than enough for most people.

Well cubase le 4 is around $600 I saw on a few sites. WTF everyone I see on here there like " its just my raw vocals, I haven't mastered it yet" lol.

Cubase 4 is old. They don't even make an LE version anymore. And LE was the free version that used to come with recording equipment. I don't even thing the full version coats $600 let alone the stripped down version.

I'm pretty sure le was 600, or it was something along the lines when I firt saw it. Cubase products range for program from like 200+ I mean it is pretty expensive for just a program. I;d rather just get the crack and thats it, but I've yet to find a crack and torrent download for pro tool. Which I'm not too happy about lol.

You can get Pro Tools M-Powered 8 for $150 with a student ID. There are no cracks.

There is a cracked version of Cubase 5 out. I'm done with cracked DAWs tho. They never work right. I own Pro Tools and Cubase and I never have to deal with stupid little problems.

yeah tryna move away from cracked software, audition works fine but im pulling my hair out tryna get vstis like symphobia/east west/battery/kontakt etc...been fukkin around for days with half of this and shit not workin properly. might just stump up for the real thing
