i play at fuzzy zoellers course all the time, theres like 12 golf courses in my city of 40k people.

Depends on what your playing. In match play you need to win at more holes than your opponents. At stroke play you need to have less totals strokes than your opponent at the end of the 18 or 9.

I've just recently got into golf. No lessons, but I've logged about a dozen sessions at the driving range and three 18-hole games at different courses. Like anyone who starts out, I made the mistake of thinking I was good because I could crush the fuck out of the ball off the tee lol.
I know enough about my game to know I need a lot of work on club selection and my irons.
