I think Neptunes as a while is dope, both Chad and Pherrel both serve a purpose, so I don' think you can say Chad does all the beats while Pherrel is just a front man, I remember him sayin in a interview that he comes up with the drum tracks and melodies and Chad does the chords and backgrounds and shit. They got a spacy sound but thier drums are powerful than a mu'fucka..makes you feel that shit.
Honestly i like Pharrel. His voice is kinda cool. I mean he gets his moments when i dont wanna hear him no more but its aight........and yeah he does do the drum tracks and melodies. I just found that out recently.
