I have a digirack 002 and Protools. I have installed SampleTank and would like to use my Yamaha PSR630 to punch in the notes....obviously through midi.
I have struggled to get a sound out of it. Nothing is communicate'n properly, and help and or a link to step by step instructions on hooking up a midi device to the 002 rack?
I've googled and read tutorials, they seem to skip over the basic ' getting everything connected' part.

alright i'll do what I can without being there ... so first you wanna make the hardware connections I.e. midi out of keyboard to midi in on the 002 rack .. once you set up the hardware connections you have to make sure you create a new midi device in the midi studio which should be under your midi drop down.. choose new device then .. name the make and model and assign the outports you most likely want out all 16 default shit then you draw the cords from the 002 rack which you should have already there if not make that also .. to the keyboard out to in and out to in then you should be good to go... hope that helps pz.

thx for the help I figured it out.....but now I relaized I need to buy the full version of SampleTank 2.0 to make my own samples and shit
