2005 is going to be a good year for hip hop. Canibus drops his new album. Chino XL drops a new album. Ras Kass is released from prison. Papoose is on the rap scene. What do all of you think?

2005 wil be whack...non talented artists are gettin into the game to easy and fuckin up hip hop...soon it will just b hip-pop
Don't forget that Tonedeff is releasing a new CD.
Sage and Atmosphere both got new CD's.
I even heard Doom is releasing another king geedorah album.
Yup, looks like it will be good year.
Immortal technique, cunninglynguistics, Tonedeff, Sage, and Atmosphere. I think it'll be dope as fuck.
murder murder
It is pop music now. Hip hop today can be classified into two categories; bling bling music and pop.Originally Posted by Pro-Found

Saying 2005 will be good for hip hop is the most ignorant thing I've read on this site
Bling Bling In My White Tee
then your a moron whos so delved into commercial hip hop that he doesint realize that the underground is boiling....unknown artists WITH MASSIVE TALENT are droppin albums this year...so to say theres no more hip hop is just stupid....its evoled and changed into something heading its way into doper status......shit RAKIM is dropping his shit this year and HE IS HIP HOP...Originally Posted by Shadow Boxing

I did say except undergound. When I said hip hop i was mainly referring to mainstream thats what everybody judges hip hop by. I aint a huge underground head but i know its on the come up, but don't doubt that mainstream is dead.
New Del should be dope if it ever drops, it's been in the works for like two years or so. And I'm a Del groupie.
Plus Rakim, Immortal Technique, Sage etc. are all expected to be very good records...
Sharp, what have you heard about the new Tonedeff? That's another one that's been in the works for a long fucking time... should be nice though.......
...
I think 2005 is going to be wack. The UnderGround artists are coming up, and when they come up they are going to take over the game. Thats just my opinion.
