2005 is going to be a good year for hip hop

2005 is going to be a good year for hip hop. Canibus drops his new album. Chino XL drops a new album. Ras Kass is released from prison. Papoose is on the rap scene. What do all of you think?

Hopefully 2005 will mark the year that Dirty South and G-Unit die.

It is pop music now. Hip hop today can be classified into two categories; bling bling music and pop.

There's no more hip hop except for underground. It's gone, and I dont think its coming back

Saying 2005 will be good for hip hop is the most ignorant thing I've read on this site

I did say except undergound. When I said hip hop i was mainly referring to mainstream thats what everybody judges hip hop by. I aint a huge underground head but i know its on the come up, but don't doubt that mainstream is dead.

New Del should be dope if it ever drops, it's been in the works for like two years or so. And I'm a Del groupie.

Plus Rakim, Immortal Technique, Sage etc. are all expected to be very good records...

Sharp, what have you heard about the new Tonedeff? That's another one that's been in the works for a long fucking time... should be nice though.......

I think 2005 is going to be wack. The UnderGround artists are coming up, and when they come up they are going to take over the game. Thats just my opinion.
